In celebration of the International Day of the Girl in Information and Communication Technologies, Telekom Srbija opened its doors to girls in the final grades of Elementary School “Veljko Dugošević” from Belgrade, who visited the company and had the opportunity to learn more about professions in the sphere of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) which they may one day deal with.

Our female employees from the Strategy and Digital Department and the chief officer Natali Delić, in their conversation with the girls pointed out the wide range of possibilities and advantages that the ICT sector offers and inspired the students to follow their talents and interests.

For several years now, Telekom Srbija has been successfully cooperating with the organization “Youth Achievements in Serbia”, which was once again confirmed in 2024 by the participation of employees in the “Financial Literacy” and ”Student Companies” programs implemented by this organization. Within the “Student Companies” program, nineteen employees made their contribution as mentors who, in accordance with their professional knowledge, guided the students on how to successfully organize entrepreneurial companies and prepare their products for the market. Since the role of mentors who come from the business environment is, apart from professors, very important for the operation of student companies, Biljana Vuksanović, who is the head of Telekom’s Training Centre, was granted the prestigious award for the best business volunteer in a competition of as many as 120 volunteers from companies participating in this project.
